Hattie Dyer Elementary
Hello! My name is Nadalee Daves and this is my second year at Hattie Dyer Elementary. I was born and raised in Denton and graduated from Denton High School.
I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Education from Texas Woman’s University and taught for 7 years in Rockwall and Denton. I graduated with my Master’s in School Counseling from Lamar University in May 2018. Although I graduated from TWU, I am a Texas Tech Red Raider at heart…Wreck ‘em!
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family or reading a good book. Coffee and Dr. Pepper are my favorite drinks, and you can never go wrong with Mexican food.
Throughout the year I will visit with all students on character education. These lessons will be about Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring, Trustworthiness, and Citizenship.
Students may be referred for individual counseling as deemed necessary by parents/guardians and teachers.
Small Group Counseling
Group counseling is available for students. This will either take place before school or during lunch. Group topics can consist of friendship, family changes, anxiety, grief, or social skills. Topics are based off of school population needs.
