Hattie Dyer Elementary
Hello! My name is Nadalee Daves and this is my first year at Hattie Dyer Elementary. I was born and raised in Denton and graduated from Denton High School.
I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Education from Texas Woman’s University and taught for 7 years in Rockwall and Denton. This past year I graduated with my Master’s in School Counseling from Lamar University. Although I graduated from TWU, I am a Texas Tech Red Raider at heart…Wreck ‘em!
When I am not working, I love spending time with my family or reading a good book. Coffee and Dr. Pepper are my favorite drinks, and you can never go wrong with Mexican food.
I am excited to be a part of the Dyer family! Go Bobcats!
Throughout the year I will visit with all students on character education. These lesson can be about friendship, kindness, conflict resolution, problem solving, anger management, or diversity.
Students may be referred for individual counseling as deemed necessary by parents/guardians and teachers.
Small Group Counseling
Group counseling is available for students. This will either take place before school or during lunch. Group topics can consist of friendship, family changes, anxiety, grief, or social skills. Topics are based off of school population needs.
