Family Challenge

Krum schools encourage families to accept monthly “challenges”

Parental involvement and student success are the focus of new initiative

Research shows that families who engage in positive conversation and activities together on a consistent basis have children who are more successful socially and academically. Statistics also show that children and adults function better in day-to-day life when they feel connected to their family. EEC, Dyer, and Dodd families have a chance this year to experience some of the great things that happen when families spend more time together through participation in monthly family challenges.

See below for information on each monthly challenge and look for details to come home with your students from these campuses one week prior to the week of the challenge. When your child brings the monthly challenge letters back to their homeroom teacher indicating that your family successfully completed the challenge, your family will be entered into an end-of-year drawing.
